Saving Project...

Renovation of a water / sewer project in Falmouth, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The work of this contract consists of sodium hydroxide chemical feed system upgrades at the Crooked Pond Water Treatment Plant (WTP) to implement a pre-filter sodium hydroxide chemical feed system and injection point for pH adjustment prior to filtration. The work includes, but is not limited to, chemical feed day tanks, transfer pump, chemical metering pumps, piping and accessories, instrumentation, SCADA modifications, and electrical upgrades. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount and in the form described in the Instructions to Bidders. A Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price, will be required in the form described in the Instructions to Bidders. Minimum wage rates as determined by the Director of the Department of Labor Standards under the provision apply to this project. Each general bid must be accompanied by a DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility for Water and Sewerage Treatment Facilities and an Update Statement (Form CQ3) in accordance with M.G.L. c. 149, 44D. Each sub-bid must be accompanied by a DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility for the respective trade and an Update Statement (Form CQ3) in accordance with M.G.L. Sub Bid Category Electrical
