Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Tully, New York. Design plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
This project will replace the bridge carrying US Route 11 over the Tioughnioga River with the intent to enhance functionality, longevity and safety, as well as improve pedestrian facilities. As of December 19, 2022,The current status of the project is In Development. The Bid Opening is expected to be in Fall 2022. Construction is expected to begin in Winter 2022/2023. Construction is expected to be completed in Winter 2024/2025. NYSDOT - US Route 11 over Tioughnioga River Bridge Project *Project information has been obtained through a public state transportation improvement plan (STIP). A STIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the STIP often evolves based on funding availability. The project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
