Spruce Beetle Kill Tree Removal throughout the Municipality of Anchorage, including Girdwood, Eagle River and Chugiak. Tree stumps are to be cut through the trunk flare and as low as possible. Contractors will also be required to remove all generated tree debris from the project site. Some locations may present an opportunity to broadcast woodchips onsite. This will be communicated on a site-by-site basis by PRD Staff. PRD anticipates awarding to two (2) contractors based on bid proposal with a one-year renewal option. Projects to be identified by specified location by PRD Staff and awarded upon earliest availability and completion time due to the time sensitivity of funding. Estimated Construction Cost: 2 Each $600,000 Contracts; Total $1,200,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. All Questions Shall Be Submitted Prior to March 21, 2022 5:00 P.m. This Will Be the Final Opportunity to Ask Questions or Request Clarifications. Such liquidated damages shall be computed with respect to each individual laborer or mechanic employed in violation of the provisions of paragraph B in the sum of $10 for each calendar day on which such employee was required or permitted to be employed on such work in excess of eight hours or in excess of his standard workweek of forty hours without payment of the overtime wages required by paragraph All work to be completed by 12/30/2022, with the option to extend all awarded contracts to coincide with available funding. The Municipality of Anchorage reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in the bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid after the hour set for the opening of bids or before the award of contract unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding forty-five (45) days from the time of the opening.
