Renovation of a mixed-use development in Devon, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility.
Work of this Contract comprises the following: .1 Selective demolition that includes but not limited to: .1 The careful removal and disposal of existing glazing systems at areas shown on drawings, including frames, glazing units, metal flashings and related elements. .2 The careful removal of brick veneer cladding and store for reinstallation at curtainwall openings (jambs and sills) to allow the window rehabilitation work at areas shown on drawings and following contract documents. .3 The abatement of cementitious stucco soffit along the curtainwall head locations where required, to allow the window rehabilitation work at areas shown on drawings and following contract documents. .4 The careful removal of the frames, glazing units, door, metal wall cladding and other related items at the northwest vestibule following contract documents. .5 The careful removal and disposal of existing exterior caulking on the brick veneer cladding at all vertical control joints at all wall elevations within the project scope, following contract documents. Approximate areas are shown on drawings. .2 Supply and installation of newly specified glazing system, metal flashings and related elements at areas shown on drawings following contract documents. .3 Reinstallation of brick veneer cladding and complete cementitious stucco soffit repair work in accordance with specifications and to match original conditions. .4 Supply and installation of newly specified glazing system, new door, metal cladding, metal flashings and related elements at the northwest vestibule following drawings and contract documents. .5 Installation of new backer rod, caulking and related elements at the vertical control joints of the brick veneer cladding at all wall elevations within the project scope, following contract documents. Approximate areas are shown on drawings. .6 Conduct the repairs at the interior of the building as required to match original conditions. .7 Repairs and work to remaining exterior sidewalks, hard and soft landscaping impacted by the project to match original conditions.
