The Hancock County Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids and request new bids. Project Description o Remove the existing roofs and insulation down to the deck; remove loose membrane o flashings; remove all debris from the roof and haul away to an approved landfill o Inspect the existing decking and report any problems to the owner. All repairs will be as approved by owner on a time and material basis. o Over the entire area, apply a continuous layer of R-20 roof insulation. o Over the new insulation, apply a 60 mil, fully adhered, EPDM rubber roof system. o At all walls and curbs, install membrane flashing. Mechanically attach the new flashing continuously along the top edge. o Retain and work to the existing capstones. o Apply manufacturer approved flashing systems at all pipes, drains, metal drain boxes, and other projections. o Provide and install new coping fabricated from 24-gauge galvanized steel with PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) resin coating. Color to be selected by Hancock County from the manufacturer's standard color chart. o Provide and install new scuppers and downspout fabricated from 24-gauge galvanized steel with PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) resin coating. Color to be selected by Hancock County from the manufacturer's standard color chart. o Perform all work in strict accordance with the manufacturer's printed specifications. o Perform only as much work that can be made watertight that day. o Upon completion, furnish manufacturer's written warranty for labor and material for 20-years.
