Renovation of a museum in Rockford, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
Rockford Park District is seeking bids for Tinker Swiss Cottage Museum to replace its cedar shingle wood roof and replace it with a manufactured composite shingle that will maintain the historic integrity of the Cottage's character.Please direct any questions to Tamara Ray at (815) 969-4094. The successful bidder must furnish a 100% Performance and Payment bond for any public work of any kind costing over $50,000.00, issued by a duly authorized Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of Illinois, and satisfactory to Owner and pursuant to The Public Construction Bond Act 098-0216, (30 ILCS 550/1) (from Ch. 29, par. 15). The Rockford Park District asks the awarded contractor to waive the customary 14-days to supply the required Performance and Payment Bonds and provide them as quickly as possible Requests for Information (RFIs) are to be submitted in writing to debbiebrooks@rockfordparkdistrict.org by Friday, August 12, 2022, by 12:00 p.m. Responses to RFIs will be published by way of addendum
