The Accomack County Department of Environmental Programs is responsible for administering and enforcing the stormwater management program, the erosion and sediment control program, the Chesapeake Bay Preservation Act Program and Chesapeake/Atlantic Preservation Area programs, and for supporting the County Wetlands Board. Periodically, the Department requires professional engineering and environmental services in the administration of these programs and in its support of the County Wetlands Board. The Accomack County Department of Environmental Programs is seeking proposals from qualified professional engineering and environmental firms to provide the indicated services on an as-required basis. The County of Accomack reserves the ri ght to reject any and all submittals and to request clarification of information from any offerors. The County of Accomack also reserves the right to award contracts to more than one offeror if such action is needed to ensure that all A/E activities requested in this RFP can be met. Questions concerning specifications or other provisions of this solicitation shall be received five (5) business days prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals. The County intends to enter into a three-year agreement, with an option to renew for two (2) additional one-year terms, with the firm(s) selected to provide these services. The County reserves the right to select from the submittals or short list to presentations or other methods deemed in the best interest of the County. Staff will recommend award to the Board of Supervisors of Accomack County. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
