The retrofits and repairs will include removing and replacing existing concrete curb, concrete sidewalk, curb ramps, and asphalt pavement, and traffic control. Additional work includes modifying pedestrian push buttons, roadway striping and adjusting utilities in the curb and sidewalk. The work shall be completed within sixty [60] working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, money order, or bid bond payable to the "City of Sammamish" of value not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. Financing for this Project will be provided by the City of Sammamish. The City of Sammamish expressly reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor irregularities or informalities and to further make award of the Project to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as it best serves the interest of the City.
