Proposals to receive consideration must be accompanied by a certified check or bidders bond from a surety company authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, made to the order of the North Strabane Township in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the proposal. All Bidders shall be required to submit with their bid a completed AIA Document A305-1986 Contractor Qualification Statement. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. All bids must be on a lump sum basis; segregated bids will not be accepted. Bidders shall be responsible for verifying all addenda with RSSC Architecture, 5500 Brooktree Road, Suite 300, Wexford, PA 15090, prior to submitting bid. Failure to acknowledge receipt of addenda may result in disqualification of bid. The Contractor, within ten (10) days after the date the Contractor is notified of the Contract award, will be required to furnish a faithful Performance bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum and a Payment Bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum. The North Strabane Township reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids and to enter into such a contract as may be deemed in the best interest of North Strabane Township. Estimated Project Value: $200,000 - $250,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Project consists of the demolition and removal of the existing structures at the Project site. Rough grading around area of the former buildings, including temporary barricade protection is also part of the project.
