Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Petoskey, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The successful bidder shall be required to enter into contract with the City of Harbor Springs and to provide proof of Workers Compensation and Public Liability insurances. Please submit your bid in a sealed envelope clearly marked with "City of Harbor Springs - 2022 State Street Sidewalk Project". The name of the company submitting the bid must also be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope. The City of Harbor Springs reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to award to the bidder whose bid best serves the interest of the City. Bidders acknowledge that no contract is created until a written contract is approved by the City Council and executed by the City. The City is allowed to perform additional investigation after Council action and prior to execution of the actual contact. No proposal may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days from the day of the bid opening. All proposals shall include a bid bond or bank letter of credit in the amount of 5% of the contract amount. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. The work under this contract includes furnishing all necessary machinery, tools, apparatus and other means of construction, do all the work, and furnish all materials and equipment specified, except as otherwise specified in the contract documents.
