Perform rehabilitation/repairs to occupied single-family residence per program Work Write-Up specification's Bid Bond None Minority-Owned, Woman-Owned, and Small Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities of bids. Location- : 3320 MELODY LANE TITUSVILLE, FL 32796 Completion- 60-working days EXTERIOR a) Paint exterior complete - pressure wash, prep, prime and paint all exterior surfaces, including front door. Paint outside body of Storm Shutters only b) Secure all loose fascia c) Remove existing gutters and install new aluminum front and back with heavy duty splash blocks. d) Replace ext. Door off of garage on west side of house. Includes new lockset keyed alike. (discard storm door) e) Adjust front door and replace weather stripping. Install new lockset keyed alike PLUMBING a) Replace main water valve on house and both exterior hose bibs. Adding backflow preventers. b) Replace all sink and washing machine valves including supply lines. (remove utility sink connections) c) Replace electric Water Heater with same size unit. d) Replace slip joint plumbing under bathroom sink. e) Replace Toilet with new comfort height water conserving unit 1.28gpf with new valve and supply line ELECTRICAL a) Replace "FPE" main disconnect panel and "Sylvania" breaker panel. b) Replace all interior/exterior outlets and switches with tamper resistant units. GFI where required by code. Securing any loose junction boxes. c) Relocate switch and outlet behind range to counter area between range and sink. d) Add outlet left of range. e) Investigate for possible hazard in wire bundle located in dining room light junction box HVAC Replace existing HVAC with new complete system, properly sized heat pump unit with heat strip, including ducts, registers and vents. Relocating condenser unit to the other side of the rear porch. INTERIOR a) Paint interior complete. Walls, ceilings, trim and front door. (all other doors remain stained) b) Paint Bathroom vanity side splash with oil base primer and paint. Remove old caulking and apply new. c) Repair chipped peeling paint and various wall/ceiling damages throughout FLOORING Remove and Replace carpet where existing. Carpeting shall be durable quality nylon fabric with jute backing and meet or exceed FHA specifications. Shall be a 24- 28oz. face weight carpet with continuous nylon filament. Carpet pad shall be 60 oz. flame out 1 or equal. (includes all necessary transitionstrips/moldings)
