AET Project No. P-0008434 The work for which bids are asked includes the following: Structure Replacement: Removal of an existing single span bridge and construction of a new 37-foot long single span concrete bridge, rip rap, railing and reconstruction of 50-feet of roadway on either side of the bridge. Roadway Reconditioning: Pulverize approximately 4,000 linear feet of a rural lane roadway, grade the existing base to accommodate a proposed 24-foot wide asphalt pavement roadway with 3-foot gravel shoulders, beam guard including energy absorption terminals, long span over culverts, standard MGS Type 3, and thrie beam connection to the structures, installation of approximately 1,000 linear feet of 30-inch concrete curb and gutter, three 68-foot long, 48-inch diameter relief culverts, unclassified excavation, supplemental dense graded base, 500 lineal feet of small diameter storm sewer and storm inlets, approximately 2,500 tons of asphaltic concrete pavement, and all related turf restoration for a complete project. The anticipated substantial completion date is September 30, 2022, and final completion date is October 15, 2022. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with Federal Davis Bacon Wage Rates. Federal wage rates can be found at http://www.wdol.gov/dba.aspx#0. Be aware that project Administrators, Bidders, and Contractors are required to use the latest federal wage rate available at the time of bid opening. This project anticipates the use of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funding. Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246.
