The Johnson County Park and Recreation District (District) is requesting sealed Bid proposals from licensed, qualified, and experienced Contractors to provide on-call mechanical and plumbing services for the District at various park and recreation facilities, developments, and other site locations as required. It is anticipated that multiple Contractors may be approved and Contracts awarded as the result of this Bid Request. It is anticipated that the Contract(s) resulting from this Bid Request shall be time and materials type Contracts that provide for payment of direct labor hours at fixed hourly rates, with materials at actual cost plus fifteen percent (actual cost + 10% overhead & 5% profit). The Contracts shall be structured as Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type Contracts, where separate dispatch orders for the required services will be issued as the need arises. Each Bidder is not required to supply a price for every Bid item identified on the Bid proposal. The resulting contracts will include an initial annual contract term, with up to 4 mutually agreed upon annual renewals.
