The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervisions, and other facilities necessary to perform the project in accordance with the plans and specifications. Please include separate bid prices for Phase #1 and Phase #2 as they may be selected individually. The work includes, but is not limited to the following: Phase #1- Tear off existing roofing and install new roof drains, and install a 60 mil TPO system (approx. 4,500 SF). Include unit pricing for metal deck repair. Phase #2- Tear off existing composite shingles around the entire City Hall building parapet, remove any shake shingles that may be present under composite shingles. Replace any areas where decking has rotted, and install ice and water shield. Install CertainTeed Landmark laminated composition shingles, color selected by owner. Include unit pricing for wood deck repair. The City of Edwardsville, Kansas, reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals, in whole or in part, and to waive technicalities. Bids may be held by the City of Edwardsville, Kansas, for a period not to exceed fourteen (14) days from the date of the opening of the bids for the purposes of reviewing and investigating the bidders' qualifications, prior to awarding the contract. No bidder may withdraw his bid during this period. Contracts shall be awarded to the lowest and best bidder in the opinion of the Edwardsville City Council based on the recommendation of professional City staff.
