Renovation of an educational facility in Cincinnati, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
University of Cincinnati Facilities Management intends to retain an Engineering Firm for the design of a new electrical service for the Geo-Physics Building on the UC Uptown West campus. The Geo-Physics Building is a 115,000 sf academic building on University of Cincinnati Uptown West campus. The building was constructed in 1987. This project shall upgrade the electric gear for the building as noted below in Section B, Scope of Service. GeoPhysics Building shall be provided with a new electric service. The service shall consist of a new 12,470 V primary feeder, new 12,470 primary switch, a new 12,470 / 480 V transformer, new 480 V distribution gear, new 480 / 208 V transformer and new 208 V distribution gear. New 480 V distribution gear shall be provided to serve (1) 480 V loadscurrently fed from Wolfson Hall, (2) emergency distribution gear in the attic, (3) a 480 V upgraded fire pump and (4) the building main 208 V transformer.
