Site work for a road / highway in San Rafael, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

County Project No.: FZ9-22-001-P1 Job No. 1206.187 The Base Bid Project improvements will include construction of a new storm water pump station, and a new concrete vehicular maintenance access ramp up to the existing concrete channel wall of Corte Madera Creek within a residential neighborhood of Kentfield. The work will take place within an easement area upon College of Marin property, and on District owned land. One of two bid alternates may be awarded either to connect the newly constructed access ramp to the existing concrete channel walls, or to backfill and stabilize the existing concrete channel wall if USACE permits are not received within the 2022 construction season. The Contractor shall possess a valid Class "A" License at time of bid submittal. To bid on this Project, the Bidder and all subcontractors are required to be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to the Labor Code. The Bidder's registration must remain active throughout the term of the Contract. A Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount payable to the Marin County Flood Control and Water Conservation District shall accompany the Proposal. Award of contract, if awarded, shall be based on budget requirements, and shall be to the lowest responsible bidder based on the total Base Bid amount whose proposal complies with prescribed requirements, and will be within forty (40) days after receipt of proposals. The Marin County Flood Control District Board of Supervisors and/or their District Engineer designee as authorized, has the sole discretion to award any bid alternative items, and reserves the right to reject any or all bids and the right to waive any irregularities Questions concerning the Bid should be submitted via online no later than 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2022.
