Renovation of a water / sewer project in West Valley City, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Granger-Hunter Improvement District is soliciting bids for the 21H: Well No. 15 and 16 Chlorinators project in West Valley City. The existing On-Site Sodium Hypochlorite Generator Equipment at Wells No. 15 (2359 W Decker Lake Blvd, West Valley City) and No. 16 (1661 W 2320 S, West Valley City) have reached their useful life and need to be replaced. The work generally includes, but is not limited to, the following at each location: 1. Mobilization/ Demobilization 2. Removal and preservation of existing chlorinator equipment 3. Demolition of existing piping associated with existing chlorinator 4. Installation of Microclor(R) Sodium Hypochlorite Generator (Pre-purchased) 5. Installation of new water softener system (Pre-purchased) 6. Installation of Brine Tank Float and Pressure Transducer (Pre-purchased) 7. Installation of new water lines, brine lines, sodium hypochlorite, and hydrogen vent lines. Question Submission Close Date 3/30/2022 5:00 PM MDT The location of the work is as indicated on the Drawings. 1. The project will be constructed at the following existing wellhouses owned and operated by GHID: Well No. 16 (1661 West 2320 South, West Valley City) Well No. 15 ( 2359 W Decker Lake Blvd, West Valley City).
