****As of April 18, 2022. Bid is cancelled. Bids are currently being solicited by the City of Tarrant, Alabama (the City), for the setting of two power poles, installation of switches, and the transferring of phases for the Tarrant Electric Dept. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and/or informalities in any bid, and to award a contract in any manner, consistent with law, deemed in the best interest of the City. A recommendation of award and a decision on the bid is expected after the City Council Meeting scheduled for April 18, 2022, but the City reserves the right to make their decision at a different time, if deemed to be in the best interest of the City. The winning bid will begin service immediately upon execution of the contract resulting from the award of the bid.
