No definite date for the rebid.** Bids are currently being solicited by the City of Tarrant, Alabama ("the City"), for the setting of two power poles, installation of switches, and the transferring of phases within the City of Tarrant. A recommendation of award and a decision on the bid is expected after the City Council Meeting scheduled for March 7, 2022, but the City reserves the right to make their decision at a different time, if deemed to be in the best interest of the City. The winning contractor will begin service immediately upon execution of the contract resulting from the award of the bid. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and/or informalities in any bid, and to award a contract in any manner, consistent with law, deemed in the best interest of the City. The work shall consist of providing the requested products as needed for a time of three (3) years. The Tarrant Electric Department reserves the right to use other Contractors to perform maintenance and repairs. Award of this contract does not imply or award preference for future contracts.
