State of Wisconsin, Oneida County, Oneida County Solid Waste Department is accepting bids for a new office building located on the Oneida County Solid Waste Department County Highway K Campus. In letting contract by bidding, Oneida County Solid Waste Department requires and will provide the following: The contract shall be awarded to the lowest qualified bidder pending background check. d. The bid shall contain list of subcontractors and description of work class to be performed by each. e. Construction Documents and Specifications will be provided in electronic format via e-mail. It will be the bidder's responsibility to get documents printed to scale as required for biding purposes. f. Oneida County Solid Waste Department is a not-for-profit organization and holds a Wisconsin Certificate of Exempt Status (CES) number. As of January 2016, building materials that become part of a qualifying nonprofit facility, provides an exemption from sales and use tax sold to a contractor. Oneida County Solid Waste Department expects to have the contractor purchase materials while being able to take advantage of their tax-exempt status. Final project approval by County Board May 17, 2022. Submittal of Certificate of Insurance by Contractor on May 18 or with submittal of bid. Award of contract May 19, 2022, at Open County Public Works committee meeting. Pre-construction meeting on site to be determined in which all subcontractors will be welcomed to attend.
