Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Fort Valley, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The proposed work will be funded by a combination of LMIG, TSPLOST, and local funding. The project consists of road removal and reconstruction, asphalt overlay, and associated tasks along twenty-two (22) roads and the repair and striping at one (1) parking lot at North Peach Park. The total length of all roads is approximately 35.4 miles. All work will be awarded in one (1) contract. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with current GDOT standards and specifications. Questions should be directed in writing via email to Kent McCormick at (478) 476-0700, kmccormick@tpointeng.com no later than April 15, 2022, at 5:00 PM. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, will be required of the successful bidder. Bonds must be written by an acceptable Surety Company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia and listed with the Department of the Treasury. Peach County reserves the right to reject all bids, to waive informalities, to re-advertise and/or to award any bid that is in the best interest of Peach County.
