The Fort Valley Utility Commission will accept sealed bids for the construction and installation to replace the natural gas system on Forrest Drive in Fort Valley. All potential bidders must hold a current Georgia Utility Contractor's License of proper classification and in full force and effect, in compliance with Act. O.C.G.A. 43-14. Contractor must be a qualified natural gas contractor under the laws of the State of Georgia and must comply with any Federal, State, and Municipal guidelines and regulations. Plans, specifications, and contract documents are available for review at the Fort Valley Utility Commission, Gas Department, during regular business hours. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after bid opening date. The successful Contractor will be required to start construction by December 30, 2022 The Bid Name "Natural Gas System Replacement - Forrest Dr. Bid" shall be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope. A pre-bid meeting has not been scheduled for this project.
