Site work for a water / sewer project in Fort Valley, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project shall include replacement and/or rehabilitation of existing clay and concrete sanitary sewer pipe in Fort Valley. Approximately 2,000 LF of the work is proposed heat/steam cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP). There will be approximately 320 LF of 8" to 8" pipe bursting, 400 LF of 10" to 10" pipe bursting, and over 1500 LF of 10" to 12" pipebursting. Nearly 2,700 LF of 8" sewer is proposed to be open-cut and replaced in-place. The project also includes the rehabilitation of existing manholes and abandonment and relocation of nearly 800 LF of 8" sanitary sewer installed by open cut. Time allotted for completion of work is 180 consecutive calendar days. All Bidders must comply with AIS Requirements, 41 CFR 60-4, regarding affirmative action, to ensure equal opportunity to females and minorities, and will apply the timetables and goals set forth in 41 CFR 60-4, as applicable to the area of the project. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, the rights to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids and to reject the Bid of any Bidder if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to that Bidder, whether because the Bid is not responsive or the Bidder is unqualified or of doubtful financial ability or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by the Owner.
