Qualified providers are invited to submit bids for the delivery to roadways within Canton Township, when, where and as directed, during the year 2022. Delivery on critical roads (to be designated by the Supervisors) is to start upon road load limits being removed, and completed by May 1, 2022 (weather pending). All remaining roads to be completed by September 1, 2022: Crushed surfacing gravel, inch, per SD-DOT specifications (plasticity index of 4-12), 6,800 tons, more or less. Quantities are approximate, based on road conditions not yet discovered as of the date of this invitation, made pursuant to SDCL 5-18A-5. Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, extend the deadline and allow supplemental bids, in the sole discretion of the Supervisors. Interested parties may attend the regular meeting of Supervisors to be held at the Richard Hill residence, 28088 482nd Avenue, Canton, SD 57013, Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at 7 PM. In case of inclement weather, the meeting shall be postponed to April 5, 2022, at same time and place.
