A description of the services is as follows: Scope of Services: The City of Sunrise is seeking to engage the services of a maximum of ten (10) Florida Certified General Contractors for a Pre-Qualified Pool of General Contractors for Housing Assistance Programs to be used on an as-needed basis. The City reserves the right to award to more or less Contractors if deemed in the best interest of the City. Additionally, the City reserves the right to add or delete contractors to the pre-qualified pool if it is determined the quantity prequalified is not sufficient to ensure competition and complete workload. Upon approval from City Commission, all pre-qualified contractors shall enter into a Contract with the City of Sunrise. Minimum Qualification Requirement: Respondent, or subcontractor(s) of Respondent, or key personnel of Respondent proposed to perform the work, shall have a valid State of Florida Certified General Contractor License and shall provide a copy of such license with Respondent s response. Respondent shall have experience successfully performing the type of work requested herein. Three verifiable references of successfully completed work must be provided for the City s review. Respondent shall be an experienced, licensed contractor specializing in construction renovations and whose key personnel assigned to the work shall have a minimum of five (5) years of related construction renovations experience, which shall include residential homes. Respondent shall have successfully completed a minimum of three (3) previous Federal, State Funded Homeowner Rehabilitation projects, within the last five (5) years. Respondent must be capable of responding to requests for onsite inspections by City staff, Homeowner, or Construction Inspector within 24 hours Respondent must be capable of obtaining all required permits, including those permits requiring discipline-specific licensing.
