This Bid is solicited to the General Public and a Contract will be awarded pursuant to the rules set forth in Chapter 30B of the Massachusetts General Laws and subject to the approval of the Town of Upton. Delivery and Completion - The furniture and equipment specified herein shall be delivered FOB Destination, with the Successful Bidder, at its own expense, being fully insured for Risk of LOSS for all furniture and equipment until acceptance of same by the Town of Upton. Delivery and installation to begin on 12 December 2022, with all work completed by 30 December 2022. All delivery and installation schedules are subject to change depending on the General Contractor's work completion. Bid Surety - A 5% Bid Security in the form of Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Treasurer's Check issued by a responsible bank or trust company, payable to the Town of Upton shall be returned within thirty (30) days to all unsuccessful bidders. The Bid Security of each successful bidder shall be retained by the Town of Upton, until such time as fully executed contracts have been submitted.
