Renovation of an educational facility in Upton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The plan is to prepare the existing floor surface of the HVAC Program at Blackstone Valley Vocational Regional School District for the installation of a new resinous flooring system using a urethane mortar floor with epoxy topcoat, as well as a final urethane topcoat (flintshot). All quotes must be received via email to rcalderon@valleytech.k12.ma.us on or before 10:00A.M., Wednesday, May 25, 2022 E.T. BVT is soliciting quotes for the installation of a new [Armor Top Satin] resinous shop floor 1/16 with single broadcast epoxy topcoat AND a final urethane topcoat. Preinstallation work includes preparation of concrete using shot blasting, and repairs to the existing floor. Floor must be "shot blasted" to a depth of 1/8" in order to expose the substrate and allow for adequate adhesion of product. BVT seeks the installation of a new resinous flooring system using a shop single broadcast floor with epoxy topcoat as well as a final urethane topcoat. The flooring system will consist of a single slate grey color [with an anti-skid standard texture surface] that is appropriate to the shop environment. Bidders should be prepared to take measurements of relevant areas during the mandatory walk-through. Projected Installation Schedule: i) Work begins no earlier than June 20, 2022 ii) Work completes by June 24, 2022
