Work includes a total product area of 55,300 S.Y. on various roadways within the Township. 1) Construct a Bituminous Seal Coat as per PennDOT Pub 408 Section 470. Seal Coat design shall be based on a Polymer Modified Emulsion, CRS-2PM (E-3M) or RS-2PM (E-2M) and #8 stone with a 1.0% loss by wash. ADT 100-500 road surface "B". 2) After construction of the Bituminous Seal Coat, apply a Type II Slurry Seal as per PennDOT Pub. 408 Section 482. Deficiencies in the Bituminous Seal Coat shall be repaired to the satisfaction of the Township prior to the installment of the Slurry Seal. The Slurry Seal must be installed within 72 hours of completion of the Bituminous Seal Coat. (See Attachment 1C for additional information).
