The City of Pittsburgh Office of Management and Budget, on behalf of the Department of Permits, Licensing, and Inspections, is soliciting bids for qualified EPA-accredited Trainers in the City of Pittsburgh ("City") to provide Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) training to current City General Contractors ("GC") License holders. Training will commence immediately as needed to satisfy the certification requirement for 800 City General Contractors ("GC") license holders. Awarded vendor must be able to provide training sessions for up to 800 seats of Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Training for City general contractor license holders who are obtaining their First Certification. Training classes to commence immediately as needed following award and executed contract Current General Construction License Holders are required to have completed course and be certified by May 29, 2022. New General Construction License applicants applying after May 29, 2022 will need to certified. Therefore, training classes will need to be available for those applicants. Training course should be made available on a bi-weekly basis at a minimum. Training classes must be conducted in person, not via a virtual platform. If one training provider cannot sustain the frequency required, multiple trainers will be selected, to ensure the services meet the needs of the City Institution/Individual firm providing training should have an established curriculum and be provided to the City upon request. Period of Contract: April 1, 2022 through April 1, 2023. The City reserves the right to request clarification of any bid before bid award. The City reserves the right to reject, for any reason, any or all bids if it is in the best interest(s) of the City to do so.
