Renovation of a mixed-use development in Miami Shores, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; and municipal facility.
Responses shall be submitted in person or by mail in a sealed envelope. Facsimile or emailed bids shall be rejected and will not be accepted. Any submittals received after the due date and time specified, will not be considered. Miami Shores Village reserves the right to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Village or to waive any informality in any submittal. The Village may reject any or all bids and re-advertise. The cone of silence for this project is now in effect. Any communication regarding this solicitation between a potential offer or, vendor, service provider, bidder, lobbyist, or consultant and any Village department heads, their staff, is prohibited. Any communications regarding matters of clarification must be made in writing and be directed to the Procurement Administrator at the following email at bids@msvfl.gov. All inquiries must reference "ITB #2022-03-02- "EXTERIOR PAINTING OF MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE HALL AND COMMUNITY CENTER". No phone calls will be accepted in reference to this ITB. If it becomes necessary to provide additional clarifying data or information that revises any part of this ITB, supplements or revisions will be made available via written addendum. Solicitations may be found via Miami Shores Village website DESCRIPTION OF MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE Miami Shores Village is vibrant community situated in Miami-Dade County and is located in close proximity to I-95 and just north of downtown Miami. The Village has a resident population of approximately 11,570 and was incorporated in1932. SCOPE OF SERVICES The work to be performed shall consist of furnishing all equipment, materials, supplies, and manufactured articles and for furnishing all transportation and services and for the performance of all labor, work, or other operations required for exterior painting and for the fulfillment of the contract in strict accordance with the contract documents. The work shall be complete, and all work, materials, and services not expressly shown or called for in the contract documents which may be necessary for the complete and proper construction of the work in good faith shall be performed, furnished, and installed by the Contractor as though originally so specified or shown, at no increase in cost to the Village. The buildings are active, and at no times may the Contractor impede or interfere with the access to and from the buildings (walkways or vehicle access points). The Contractor shall minimize the impact of these project(s) on the general public ensuring that all service interruptions are kept to a minimum and providing temporary services, structures, and facilities as required.
