Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, per the owner, the plans are expected to be completed in October of 2023. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Pursuant to Section 287.055, Florida Statutes, Miami Shores Village ("Village") invites qualified firms ("Proposer") to submit a statement of qualifications to provide architectural, structural and recreational design services in response to this Request for Qualifications (RFQ). The Village intends to use the Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) submitted in response to this RFQ to rank the Consultants according to the most qualified and to then initiate contract negotiations with the top ranked firm. The Village expects to engage a qualified firm, with the expertise to design both in terms of aesthetic form and practical function and ability to prepare a conceptual design, seek input from residents and other relevant groups at a community meeting, and to design, and provide construction engineering and inspections for the improvements to Bayfront Park along North Bayshore Drive between NE 94th Street and approximately 175 feet north of NE 96th Street to include seawall design and water access. Miami Shores Village reserves the right to reject any and all submissions, to waive any and all irregularities in any submission, to solicit and re-advertise for statements of qualifications and to make awards in the best interest of the Village. Questions regarding this solicitation shall be submitted in writing to bids@msvfl.gov no later than 5:00 p.m. Thursday, April 21 , 2022.
