ACME Construction Design/Build contractor for SLCUSD seeks subs for the remodel of existing restrooms in building 500 and fire alarm upgrade of entire building. Pursuant to Education Code Section 17406 and Public Contract Code Section 20111.6, all Electrical, Mechanical or Plumbing contractors holding C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43 and/or C-46 licenses ("MEP subcontractors") must be prequalified to submit as a first-tier subcontractor for all District Design/Build and lease-leaseback projects. Prequalification packages must be submitted AND approved no later than five business days prior to the Bid Date for the opening of bids for specific participating projects or on a continuous basis to maintain eligibility with the District. Subcontractors must be bondable and may be required to provide Payment and Performance Bonds. Bid Bond is not required. Safety Record is of the utmost importance. Subcontractors with aggregate EMR Rate of 1.5 over the past three years may be disqualified. Prevailing wage Pre-bid Rfi's Shall Be Emailed to the Project Estimator: Mike@acmeconstruction.com. Prebid Rfi's Must Be Received No Later Than Wednesday, April 6 th .
