Replacement of approximately 5600 linear feet, and the new installation of approximately 1300 linear feet of watermain, along with all services, hydrants and appurtenances on Quincy Avenue. The estimated cost of this project is $2,500,000.00. The contract duration is 160 calendar days. Including the lump sum cash allowance of $85,000.00 for Police Detail/Roadway Flagger services and the lump sum cash allowance of $50,000.00 for rodent and pest control. The existing 6-inch water main on the east side of Quincy Avenue runs alongside gas service and transmission lines operated by Algonquin/ Spectra Energy and National Grid which cannot be interrupted, and work nearby must be conducted with appropriate gas company representatives present. There are also critical 115KV duct banks within Quincy Avenue that cannot be interrupted
