Description: On-Call Maintenance and Repair Services of Rolling and Other Equipment at L. G. Hanscom Field, Bedford, MA (The estimated overall labor hours range between 2,500 - 3,000 per year) WRITTEN QUESTIONS DUE ....................... March 28, 2022 RESPONSES TO QUESTIONS POSTED .... March 30, 2022 CONTRACT COMMENCEMENT .................. May 1, 2022 Agreement Term: The Authority intends to enter into one or more Purchase Order(s) for the Scope of Service The term of the Purchase Order(s) for shall be three (3) years with two (2) one (1) year renewal options to extend. The Authority reserves its rights with regard to earlier termination of the Purchase Order in accordance with the terms therein. Current Location(s) for this bid: L.G. Hanscom Field, 200 Hanscom Drive, Bedford, MA The Authority reserves the right to add or remove locations at its sole discretion during the term of the resulting Agreements. To provide on-site repairs including, but not limited to, the following types of equipment: Ford Pick-up trucks, vans, SUVs, and four-wheel drive vehicles Oshkosh and Sno-Go snow blowers and runway sweepers CLAAS Xerion 5000 multifunction tractor with 42' mower and 36' plow Mack, and Ford all-wheel drive trucks with rollover plows and sanders Polaris UTV Metal Pless, Oshkosh, Fisher, Frink and Wausau power angle and rollover plows Hyundai front-end loaders, buckets and Ramp Hog snow blades Nissan forklifts SkyJack scissor lifts Bobcat track loader with various attachments Elgin street sweepers Schulte, John Deere, Kubota, and Grasshopper rider mowers; various lawnmowers, chainsaws, weed whackers, leaf blowers, air compressors, wood chipper and cement mixer Ford and John Deere field tractors with batwing cutters Graco Line Lazer paint machines and buggies- Experience preferred to calibrate paint/bead dispensing to FAA specifications. The Authority reserves the right to add or subtract equipment during the term of this contract. Maintenance services shall be in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations and specifications. Maintenance includes, but is not limited to: Annual preventative maintenance program for all vehicles Change oil and filters and lubricate all equipment on scheduled basis Check and replace fuel filters as needed Check batteries for water and load bank test. Recharge discharged batteries and replace weak batteries when needed Check anti-freeze and replace as needed Hoses shall be tested and replaced as needed Check and adjust air pressure in tires and check and repair condition of tires, wheels, wheel studs and lug nuts Fabricate and replace hydraulic hoses Cutting, fabricating and welding, as needed Fabricate new parts no longer available from suppliers Monitor parts inventory and prepare lists for ordering The Authority reserves the right to add or subtract services during the term of this contract. Additional Specifications: It is preferred that the vendor have the Oshkosh Advanced Electrical Certification. All replacement parts, lube oil, antifreeze, hydraulic oil, grease and materials shall be purchased by the Authority All tools and equipment shall be supplied by the Contractor Scheduled repairs shall be conducted between the hours of 6:00 am and 2:30 pm, excluding holidays or as directed Contractor shall be paid only for hours worked on site. Lunch and breaks are unpaid. For emergency call-ins, Contractor must be on site within one (1) hour of call-in time. Call-in hours will be paid for actual hours, with no minimum guarantee.
