The City of North Miami Beach intends to create a pool of qualified contractors experienced in proving residential rehabilitation and renovation related projects. Proposals shall be considered only from firms that have been continuously engaged in providing products and services similar to those specified herein for a reasonable period and that are presently engaged in the provision of these services. The selected pool of prequalified contractors will then be invited to bid on specific federally funded renovation projects as they become available. The renovation projects shall be carried out in accordance with the terms and conditions contained in the executed contract between the contractor and the homeowner. Liquidated damages shall be computed with respect to each individual laborer or mechanic, including watchmen and guards, employed in violation of the clause set forth in paragraph (b)(1) of this section, in the sum of $27 for each calendar day on which such individual was required or permitted to work in excess of the standard workweek of forty hours without payment of the overtime wages required by the clause set forth City Commission Resolution to Negotiate and/or Award Tuesday, April 19, 2022 The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals prior to award.
