The project site is located at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, in Alexandria, Louisiana. The work is described as follows: Provide new LED roadway lighting system including poles, luminaires, pole bases, foundations, circuiting, and electrical controls at the WWTP, as indicated on the Drawings. Provide 240/480V dry type transformer, and 120/240 panelboard. To register, or for assistance with completing an e-bid, contact Central Bidding at 225-810-4814 or 866-570-9620. Pursuant to L.R.S. 38:2212.D, Prime Bidders shall obtain an original set of electronic or paper bidding documents either from the public entity or the design professional who prepared such documents. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause. Such actions will be in accordance with Title 38 of the L.R.S. In accordance with L.R.S. 38:2212.B.(1), the provisions and requirements stated in the bidding documents shall not be considered as informalities and shall not be waived. As a requirement under L.R.S. 37:2150-2163, this project is classified as "Electrical Work ". Under the initiatives of the Alexandria Fairness Equality, Accessibility and Teamwork Program (AFEAT), minority and female owned business subcontracting opportunities are encouraged. No bidder may withdraw his Bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
