Aircraft Wash Rack Associated Pavement Improvements & Lift Station Improvements for the Alexandria International Airport at England Industrial Airpark & Community The England Economic and Industrial Development District (England Authority) is presently accepting Statements of Qualifications from Aviation Design firms to be retained by the England Authority for airport engineering services at Alexandria International Airport. The England Authority is a public agency responsible for the redevelopment of the former England Air Force Base. Since assuming control of the England Industrial Airpark & Community in December of 1992, The England Authority has been recognized nationally for its success in attaining its redevelopment goals. The proposed project includes all engineering services necessary to investigate, evaluate, design, provide all bid/construction documents and provide construction phase services, including on-site construction inspection for the proposed project. The anticipated project includes: Aircraft Wash Rack, Associated Pavement Improvements & Lift Station Improvements Consultants will be required to present qualifications and extensive experience in pavement analysis, PCC design and new construction experience under active airport operating condition. The comprehensive information package shall be of a type and nature that will aid the England Authority in its professional selection process. It is the policy of the England Authority that Disadvantaged Business Enterprises as defined in 49 CFR Part 23 shall have the maximum opportunity to participate in the performance of contracts assisted in whole or part by funds granted by the Department of Transportation. The England Authority has adopted a goal of 10% participation. We encourage responders to help us meet this goal.
