Sealed bids will be received by PEKIN COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL - DISTRICT #303 PEKIN, ILLINOIS hereinafter known as the Owner, for the STADIUM AND NORTH PARKING LOT DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS project. The project work shall include, but not limited to, removal of existing storm sewer, headwall removal and replacement, dry-wells, storm sewer piping, french drain, retaining wall, earthwork, and miscellaneous site restoration. Completion dates for this project vary - Alternate Bid #1 & #2: June 10th, 2022, and Alternate Bid #3: July 15th, 2022. All bidders are hereby advised that they must submit a Pre-qualification Statement for this Project prior to opening of Bids. An IDOT Certificate of Eligibility Statement will be deemed acceptable for the Prime/General Contractor bidding this work. A CDB Certificate of Eligibility Statement will not be acceptable for the Prime/General Contractor bidding this work. Bids will be held good and may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 calendar days from due date. Commencement of the work on the project may begin as early as May 23rd, 2022 for Alternate Bid #1 & #2 and May 27th, 2022 for Alternate Bid #3. Any work before this date shall be subject to the discretion of Pekin Community High School. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to accept any or reject all bids when in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve the best interest of the Owner. Bids on all work of this contract shall be subject to the provisions of the "Illinois Prevailing Wage Act" (Illinois Revised Statues, Chapter 48, Section 395S - 1-12).
