Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Pekin, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a transportation facility; for site work for a transportation facility; and water / sewer project.
**As of November 23, 2022, project was awarded to Leander Construction but awarded amount is not available.** City of Pekin, IL will receive sealed bids for the construction of a 10-place T-hangar; including site preparation and grading; pre-engineered steel building erection; concrete slab on grade construction; concrete perimeter slab; hangar and site electrical; drainage improvements; and the application of landscaping and erosion control measures at the Pekin Municipal Airport, Pekin, Illinois. The successful bidder shall be bonded, insured, and required to pay the prevailing rate for each trade or craft per the Davis-Bacon Wage Determinations (U.S. Department of Labor) for Tazewell County, Illinois and comply with the Federal Provisions included within the bidding documents. The successful bidder shall have been in business for a period of not less than five (5) years, undertaking work similar in scale, scope, and cost to that included within the proposed project.
