Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Franklinville, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The rehabilitation and replacement of sanitary sewer piping, manholes, and laterals. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the maximum amount of the bid, as a guarantee that the bidder will execute the contract and furnish the necessary bonds if the contract is awarded to him/her. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The selected Contractors will be required to comply with the funding requirements of the NYS Environmental Facilities Corporation, as described in the Bidding Documents. Documentation demonstrating the effort to solicit MBE/WBE participation must be submitted within five (5) days of the Bid Opening. The Supplementary Conditions set forth requirements for the payment by the Contractor and its Subcontractors of minimum wage rates for all classes of laborers and mechanics as set forth by the General Prevailing Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the New York Department of Labor, Article 8 Public Work, as applicable to the Work. Davis Bacon wage rates also apply to this contract.
