This project shall consist of three (3) contracts. Contract #3 is to furnish and deliver to the Borough 19mm SuperPave Binder and 9.5mm SuperPave Wearing Course. Contractors may bid on either or/or all contracts. The project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 as amended. Wage rates are included in the contract documents. For Contract #3, all bidders shall be required to furnish a Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid. Upon the acceptance of the proposal by the Borough, the successful bidder(s) shall provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the contract amount to the Borough. The Borough reserves the right, which is agreed and understood by all bidders, to accept or reject any or all bids and waive irregularities. No bid may be withdrawn by the bidder for sixty (60) days after closing time for receipt of bids.
