Renovation of an educational facility in Bonifay, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Holmes District School Board is extending an invitation to all qualified companies to submit a bid to perform all work associated with the Holmes County High School Phase I HVAC Renovations, Bonifay, Florida. The work shall consist of removal of twenty-four water source heat pumps with split system air cooled heat pumps and all associated work in accordance with the Plans and Specifications prepared by WATFORD ENGINEERING, 4452 Clinton Street, Marianna, Florida 32466. Bids shall be a lump sum price; segregated bids will not be accepted. Each bid shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a Certified Check, Bid Bond, or Cashiers Check made payable to the Owner in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Bid amount as a guarantee that the Bidder, if awarded the Contract, will, within ten (10) days thereafter, furnish satisfactory Bonds and enter into a written Contract with the Owner in accordance with the accepted Bid and the terms as stated in the Contract Documents. If cash or check Bid Security is used, then the Bidder shall furnish with his Bid, a commitment from Surety that a Performance and Payment Bond will be issued if the Contract is awarded to the Bidder. The attorney-in-fact, or other officer who signs a Bid Bond, shall file with such Bond a certified copy of power-of-attorney authorizing him to do so. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, accept Bids in any order or combination, accept or reject portions of Bids, make modifications to the work after bidding, and waive any informalities in the Bids if deemed in its best interest to do so. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the actual closing time for receipt of bids.
