Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the City of Liberty Hill, Texas for the LIBERTY HILL CITY PARK FIELD MAINTENANCE AND STRIPING. Scope of Work/Services
Full turf maintenance - mow, trim, edge 33 times year.
Fertilize all turf areas 6 times a year.
Weed control as needed to maintain weed free healthy turf.
Overseed with perennial rye grass in winter and Bermuda in spring.
Aeration 4 times a year.
Irrigation check monthly.
Repair or replace all heads damaged by maintenance crew.
Clippings removed immediately.
Hardscape areas blown off each visit.
Ant treatment as needed per visit.
Supervision by assurance manager to ensure all work done in accordance with agreement.
Provide all equipment/supplies needed to provide services.
Primary large field white striping 10 fields and Secondary purple striping 12 fields 12 times a year.
Any equipment moved must be returned in place. General Conditions
Work outside contract must have prior written approval by owner.
Effective date of contract is 12 months.
Contractor responsible for all taxes and other related cost.
Monthly billing due by the 25 of the month all will be paid by the end of the following month.
Owner/Contractor may terminate contract with a 30-day written notice. Bids received after the date and time of bid opening will be returned unopened. After receipt of bids, no bid may be withdrawn within ninety (90) days after the date of bid opening. The City of Liberty Hill reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in bids received. Insurance Requirements
Contractor providing goods, materials and services for the City of Liberty Hill shall, during the term of the contract with the City of Liberty Hill or any renewal or extension thereof, provide and maintain the types and amounts of insurance set forth herein. All insurance and certificate(s) of insurance shall contain the following provisions: Name the City of Liberty Hill as additional named insured as to all applicable coverage.
Provide for at least ten (10) days prior written notice to the City of Liberty Hill for cancellation, non-renewal, or material change of the insurance.
Provide for a waiver of subrogation against the City of Liberty Hill for injuries, including death, property damage, or any other loss to the extent the same is covered by the proceeds of insurance, Insurance Company Qualifications
All insurance companies providing the required insurance shall be authorized to transact business in Texas and rated at least AU by AM Best or other equivalent rating service. Certificate of Insurance: Certificates of insurance evidencing all the required insurance coverages shall be submitted with the Contractor's submission. Copies of any modifications, amendments, renewals, or terminations of any coverage shall be promptly submitted to the City. If the contract is renewed or extended by the City of Liberty Hill and TlRZ Board, certificates of insurance evidencing all the required insurance coverages shall also be provided to the City of Liberty Hill prior to the date the contract is renewed or extended. Contract Type and Amount of Insurance
Statutory Workers Compensation insurance as required by state law.
Commercial General Liability minimum limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence for bodily injury, personal injury, and property damage.
Automobile Liability with a minimum $500,000 Dollars combined single limit.
Professional Services Professional Liability Insurance with a minimum of $1 Million Dollars per occurrence and $1 Million Dollars aggregate, if applicable
