Page County will be accepting Bids for cell construction and related infrastructure at the Battle Creek Landfill. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: - Erosion and Sedimentation Controls; - Site preparation; - Unclassified Excavation, including waste excavation; - Placement of Structural Fill; - Subtitle D Liner System Construction, including liner tie-in; - Leachate Collection and Conveyance System Construction; and - Stabilization and Revegetation. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Michael Hofmeister via email at mhofmeister@labellapc.com. Additional information about questions, interpretations, and addenda can be found on page 10 of the Project Manual. Questions are due by Close of Business on April 22, 2022. Questions received less than five working days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The successful bidder shall be a Contractor with a Responsible Land Disturber Certificate (RLD), who has experience constructing landfill Subtitle D liner systems and leachate collection and conveyance systems, and is familiar with the particular requirements of landfill construction. AGC form 220 will be used to evaluate the Bidder's experience record. At least two (2) Subtitle D liner projects totaling a minimum of 500,000 square feet of constructed liner, successfully completed within the last five (5) years by the CONTRACTOR or his subcontractors, are required in addition to the liner installer experience as set out in the specifications.
