The City of Pleasanton is requesting Proposals for consultant service to provide Traffic Impact Analysis preparation and general transportation engineering services. This Service Contract will be used mainly for development of traffic impact studies for various development proposals received by the City. Services may also include Traffic Signal Design, Signal Coordination, Parking Studies, Grant Applications, Bicycle and Pedestrian Improvement Design and other general transportation engineering related work. The City will likely select the top 3 firms. The term of the contract will be 3 years with the option for two additional 1 year extensions. The cumulative budget for the 3 contracts over the 3 year period is $500,000. Although the recommended aggregate not-to-exceed amount is $500,000 over three years, there is no guaranteed amount of work to any of the three firms, and there is no guarantee that the $500,000 amount will be expended over the contract period The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
