The Center de services scolaire de l'Énergie, owner, is requesting bids for a project to repair interior finishes at Dominique-Savio school in Shawinigan, Saint-Georges-de-Champlain sector.
Tenders must be accompanied by a certified check, payable to the Center de services scolaire de l'Énergie, corresponding to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the tender, or a tender bond, established at same amount, valid for a period of 45 days from the date of opening of tenders. This tender guarantee must be exchanged at the signing of the contract for a performance guarantee and a guarantee of obligations for wages, materials and services as mentioned in the general conditions of the tender documents. When these guarantees are in the form of a bond, the amount of each of them corresponds to 50% of the price of the contract and when they are in the form of a certified check, the amount of each of them corresponds to 10% of the price of the contract. . Only bids from contractors having their principal place of business in Quebec and holding, where applicable, the license required under the Building Act (RSQ, c. B.- 1.1). Tendering contractors are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both for their solvency and for the content of their tenders. All tenders must be made in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation respecting contracts for the construction of school service center buildings adopted under the Education Act (RSQ, c. l-13-3, r.0.01).
The Owner does not undertake to accept any of the tenders received and disclaims any obligation or liability with regard to the tenderers. award is subject to final approval.
