Site work and paving for a road / highway in Castlegar, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The proposed contract requires the Grading Contractor to complete surface maintenance - Grading on Forest Service Roads that access Rural Residents. - Each of the five roads identified will require BOTH a Spring and a Fall grade. (to occur sometime in April and October depending on weather conditions) - It will be the responsibility of the Grading Contractor to time the grading in accordance with the weather. - Deer Creek FSR (also referred to as the Deer Park Road) will require additional grades due to heavy public recreational use. These grades are to occur sometime for June, July, August and September. - Deer Creek FSR will require the use of a water truck during periods of warm and dry weather to ensure a quality grade. It will be the responsibility of the Grading Contractor to supply a water truck. Documents can be obtained from www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca.
