Westmoreland is a comprehensive community college serving approximately 5,554 students each fall and spring semester at seven locations and online. The college encompasses the main campus and seven education centers in Westmoreland, Fayette, and Indiana counties, strategically located to serve every area of the region Westmoreland County Community College is seeking proposals for a classroom expansion and remodel at the New Kensington Center location. The firm will be responsible for providing all drawings and specifications for the project. The firm will also be responsible for applying for the building permit, and scheduling all needed inspections. The project will include the following: o Removal of approximately 15 feet of wall between rooms A218 and A216. o Purchasing and installing cabinetry, counter top, and other needed hardware in A216, to match existing casework along opposite corner. o Installation of surgical handwash since in A218. o Installation of an electric 40-gallon water heater in the building to supply hot water to the new surgical sink in A218 and the existing since in A216. o Removal of the instantaneous water heater installed in A216. o Installation of three (3) surgical lights in A218. o Replacement of existing light fixtures with drop in LED fixtures. o Paint and finish in both rooms. o Replacement of floors using Flexico Prime Sports EPDM 3/8" interlocking tile. o Supply any necessary documentation to obtain building permits.
