Renovation of a municipal facility in Wailuku, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 4,300-square-foot municipal facility.

Bidder shall supply and install a total of 4 air conditioning units. Three (3) of the units will be 5 Ton and one (1) unit will be 3 Ton. All installation and disposal are to be in line with existing Federal, State and Local Laws. See Below for Scope of Work Details. A. Air Condition Unit Specifications 1. Minimum requirements three (3) Rheem Prestige Series 5-Ton 20 SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio), 60,000 BTU (British Thermal Units) or better size and efficiency. 2. Minimum requirements one (1) Rheem Prestige Series 3-Ton 20 SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio), 36,000 BTU (British Thermal Units) or better size and efficiency. 3. 3-Ton unit in item 2 is for Archive room 1 and Archive room 2 approximately 350 square feet combined. Rooms holds all of KIRC's archives. Archiving standards are to keep approximately 60 degrees Fahrenheit room temperature and 50% humidity. Unit will run from 430pm to 7am Monday to Friday and all day on Saturday and Sunday 4. 5-ton units (3 total) will cool approximately 4,300 square feet 645am to 430pm Monday to Friday. 5. Air handlers to support overall system and of like brand, quality and specifications to support cooling requirements in items 1 to 4 of this section. 6. 4 Thermostats with Thermostat lock boxes and keys. 1 thermostat and 1 thermostat lock box and 1 set of keys per AC Unit. 7. Supply all parts and labor to install new units and safely dispose of old AC units. 8. Installation to include appropriate weather proofing of all exterior components, specifically 4 condensing units. Include recommendations in offer. 9. Installation and disposal need to meet or exceed all EPA, Federal, State and Local Laws. 10. Installation will require landlord approval. KIRC will work with Vendor for Landlord approval. 11. Installation will involve construction of a cement pad for the new 3 Ton unit that slopes away from the building. 12. Installation of 1 5-Ton unit might require construction of support attached to side of building that will support the weight of the AC unit.
