SCOPE OF WORK/DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS ***ATTENTION: THE CONTRACTOR MUST BE ABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY*** The Department of Corrections (DOC) is requesting bids for a Contractor to provide janitorial services at the Probation and Parole District #9 office, hereinafter referred to as the Purchasing Agency, which is located at 750 Harris Street, Suite 202, Charlottesville, VA 22903. Janitorial services shall be provided three (3) days per week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday to be scheduled after 5:00 p.m. The office space consists of 6,940 square feet including five (5) bathroom, one (1) kitchenette, two (2) janitorial closets (one on each floor), one (1) urine screen testing area, twenty-five (25) offices, one (1) conference room, one (1) group room, one (1) lobby, two (2) interview rooms, one (1) break room, and one (1) electrical maintenance room. The contract period will be for one (1) year from the date of award and renewable in accordance with Section III, Paragraph D.
